In Ghana, we were able to send resources to partner organization Play & Learn Foundation, that support Ghanian youth. Your support helped to provide the youth & their families with a 3 month relief package. The organization offers sport training, academic support, mentorship, and community outreach. In Liberia, we were able to get resources to organizers in the Monrovia area, that helped families in need get critical food items. And in Kenya, resources were made available to families in the Kisumu area with 2 weeks of food relief and helped families that were at risk of loosing access to shelter. In total so far GUD has been able to support over to 100 people through our COVID-19 relief efforts. One of the best ways we can make a difference and make it through this time, is when we band together and share our collective resources across our communities; This raise was a fantastic demonstration of that fact.
