EDUCATION
Education is immensely important in community development. It is pivotal in breaking the cycle of poverty. GUD focuses on education in the traditional sense but also across all of our sectors ie.  Health Education efforts and Environmental Education.
HEALTH & MEDICINE
Improving access to proper medical care, resources & facilities is critical in all of our communities. We aim to do this by building medical facilities where needed, improve existing facilities, providing resources to local medical staff and bringing in doctors to under-served communities.
INFRASTRUCTURE
&
ENGINEERING
Simple improvements of Infrastructure can drastically improve a community's ability to function, for example paving roads to rural areas, building necessary  amenities like health clinics, schools and waste management systems, all have the potential to transform communities .

AGRICULTURE
&
ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION
Our Environment must be at the forefront of our efforts because every single life on the planet is dependent on it. We prioritize the environment by encouraging and teaching sustainable agriculture practices, planting trees, cleaning waterways, and overall minimizing our ecological footprint.
Our Agriculture efforts help communities reach their nutritional needs while allowing them to also be able to sell their cash crops.
Sustainable Design
Sustainability throughout all projects from buildings, to farming, to the programs that we run is essential and key for success.

We aim to design our  buildings using sustainable
design techniques  allowing us to minimizes both the initial environmental cost of building  (through reducing materials waste and using sustainable  products) and the long-term environmental impact of the building by constructing efficient buildings that use only a fraction of the energy required to power and heat/cool.
Water Resources & Sanitation
Our Water Resources & Sanitation Sector will  focus primarily on providing communities with clean water. World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that still “2.5 billion people – more than one third of the global population – live without basic sanitation facilities” while 750 million people still lack access to safe and clean drinking water.
